In 2017 all the events will take place – simultaneously- on Friday 29 September*, in over 300 cities across Europe and in neighbouring countries. In Brussels, the European Commission and the European Parliament are organising a special event from 26 Tuesday to 27 Wednesday September called "Science is wonder-ful".
All the events are supported by the European Commission as a part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme, to boost the careers of researchers.
Projects can compete to organise the European Researchers' Night via the submission of an application to a call for proposals, with only the best selected for EU support.
These calls are managed by the Research Executive Agency (REA).
The following wording should be used: "The [name] project is associated to the European Researchers' Night event, an initiative of the European Union funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions." The next call for proposals for the organisation of the European Researchers' Nights 2018-2019 will be published in 2017.
The information that you need will be published on the Participant Portal.
